Transfer functionality enables users assign full ownership of their identities to another wallet address. This feature ensures that users can easily reassign their identities, whether for personal reasons, business transactions, or asset management. Please find below how to transfer your identity.
Note that currently, you can Transfer identity from the Movement or EVM-supported Network address only to the Movement Network address.
1.Navigate to the “My identities” page from the Menu.

2.There are two options for how to get the “Transfer” page:
a) Click the “Menu” button of the identity you want to Transfer, and choose “Transfer ownership”.

b) Transfer the identity from the “Identity details” page.
- Click “Open identity” on the identity card.

- Switch to the “More” tab and choose “Transfer”.

3.On the “Transfer identity” page simply paste New owner's address.

4.Click the “Continue” button.

5.Confirm the Transfer in the new window by clicking “Transfer identity”.

6.Approve the transaction in the wallet modal window.

7.All is set. The new owner can see the transferred identity on “My identities” page.
