MNS features a comprehensive selling capability through the service, allowing users to buy and sell identities all in one place.
A standout aspect of this feature is enabling users to monetize their digital identities by listing unique names for sale. This not only allows users to potentially earn income but also provides the opportunity to sell identities that are no longer in use. Please see below how to sell your identity in MNS marketplace.
Note that currently, you can Sell identity only on the Aptos network.
1.Navigate to the “My identities” page from the Menu.
2. There are two options for how to get the “Sell” page:
a) Click the “Menu” button of the identity you want to Sell, and choose “Sell identity”.
b) Sell the identity from the “Identity details” page.
- Click “Open identity” on the identity card.
- Switch to the “More” tab and choose “Sell identity”.
3. On the Sale page, set the price.
4. Choose Sale Duration. The start date is the day you put your identity on the Sale. You can customize the end date, or choose between 3/6/12 months options. See the applied value.
5. Check the Summary and click “Confirm and sell”.
6. Approve the transaction in the wallet window.
7. Navigate to “My identities” page and switch to “On Sale” tab to see list of identities “On Sale”.
8. You can edit your Sell by clicking the arrow next to “On Sale” status on the “Identity details” page. You can change the price, duration, or close the Sell.
